01 - 1.1 lbs ground chicken
02 - 1 small onion, finely chopped
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 1 tbsp soy sauce
05 - 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
06 - 1/2 tsp salt
07 - 1/2 tsp black pepper
08 - 1 tbsp olive oil for grilling

12 - 1 medium tomato, sliced
13 - 1 small red onion, thinly sliced

# Steps:

01 - In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped onion, garlic, soy sauce, grated ginger, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
02 - Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into burger patties.
03 - Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat and brush lightly with olive oil.
04 - Grill the chicken patties for 5–6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and juices run clear (internal temperature 165°F). If using cheese, add a slice to each patty in the last minute of cooking and cover to melt.
05 - While the patties are cooking, grill the pineapple rings for 2 minutes per side, until lightly caramelized.
06 - Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1–2 minutes, until golden.
07 - Spread barbecue sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, a chicken patty, grilled pineapple ring, red onion, and the top half of the bun.
